NURSERY

     The Nursery ministry is provided on Sunday mornings during the Adult Worship Service at 10:00 AM. The Nursery is open to receive children from 9:40 AM to 10 minutes after the Service ends. Currently the Nursery is available for the ages of infant to five (5) years old. The Nursery is staffed by trained, loving members of LWC, who prepare a lesson (Gospel Light curriculum) that includes Bible teaching for all the ages represented and a special craft.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

     An upbeat teaching ministry is available during the 10:00 AM Adult Worship Service for children in Grades one (1) to five (5). Children’s teachers are trained  & caring members of LWC under the supervision of Pastor Barb Thompson.

WORSHIP ARTS

     A major emphasis here at LWC is in communicating the joy of our faith through the Redeemed Arts. Various forms of the arts have been polluted by the world systems of pride & egotism, sensuality and a performance mentality. We believe that God is restoring/redeeming the arts back into the Church, according to the Biblical standards of Humility, Holiness, Modesty and Ministry. We encourage an atmosphere of Godly and personal creativity in every area of artistic endeavor.

     We are blessed to have two greatly gifted and highly trained professionals heading up our Worship Arts Ministry at LWC.

     Rev Bob Piccola leads the Worship Team for vocal and instrumental arrangements and in worship services. Bob is an ordained minister who plays several musical instruments. He is a gifted vocalist and talented songwriter.

     Rev Carie Thompson oversees our physical arts group, 'Arts Aflame.' Carie is an accomplished dancer with over 18 years of experience. She is a licensed minister and a graduate of Living Word Bible College in Pasadena California, where she also earned a journeyman’s certificate in the arts of dance, drama and pantomime under the training of well-known Christian artist Todd Farley and Mime-istry International.

WORSHIP TEAM

     LWC has a live worship ministry every Sunday morning, as well as special guest ministry meetings and many outreach events. The team, known as “The Sound of Many Waters,” is a dynamic and growing group of musicians and singers with a heart and vision to lead others into joyful celebration in the very Presence of the Lord.

     The Worship experience also includes times for prophetic flow in the music with spontaneous new songs and words of strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

'MESSAGE IN MOTION'

     Message In Motion consists of a changing cast from the membership of LWC, who audition, rehearse and minister in both short term and long term projects and ministry commitments.

     There is a weekly dance ministry team that compliments and flows with the Worship Team during services in both choreographed and spontaneous, prophetic movements of dance, and mime. Dancers minister with implements of praise such as flags, banners, streamers and various props in acting out specific actions or events. Dancers and flag teams also participate in many public outreaches in malls, at outdoor festivals and in parades.

     There is a drama group (acting with spoken dialogue and in mime) which will supply Pastor/pulpit support (acting out scenes or parables which are presented as part of the preaching or message from the Bible)and special seasonal plays at Christmas and Easter. Actors and Mimes also participate in many public outreaches in malls, at outdoor festivals, and in parades.
